Troubleshooting & Tips
Common issues and tips to improve success when downloading images from Pinterest.
Image Not Found
If SnapGrab can't find the image, check that the URL points to the image's dedicated page and that it's public.
Tip: Try opening the link in a private/incognito window — if the image shows there, it may be region- or login-restricted.
Private / Restricted Pins
Private boards or restricted pins often require authentication. Our service cannot download items behind a login or special privacy setting.
Tip: If you own the pin, use the original uploaded file or change visibility before downloading.
Low Quality / Missing Sizes
Pinterest sometimes stores multiple sizes; SnapGrab exposes the sizes the source provides.
Tip: Try different URL variants (pin link vs. image direct link) to see available sizes.
Slow Downloads or Timeouts
Large image files may time out on slow connections. Ensure your network is stable and try again.
Tip: Use a wired connection or pause other heavy downloads. If issues persist, include the pin URL when contacting support.
Error Messages
Copy the exact error message and send it to support so we can diagnose faster.
Tip: Open the developer console (F12) and copy any network errors — they help our team fix issues quicker.
Still Stuck?
Collect the pin URL, your browser & OS, and a screenshot of the error, then contact support.
Contact Support — we usually respond within 24–48 hours.
